Step-Up Substation and Its Significance In Power Distribution
There is power being generated from the Solar fields and moved by the transmission lines to A power Step-Up substation is a facility where electricity converts from transmission to distribution. This is a technology from Daelim that will change the way to use power and it is a key feature of this project being undertaken by Kibwezi Sunpower.
Power from the transmission grid is stepped down to the distribution grid for use in homes and businesses. The grid is a network of interconnected power systems that supply power to the population. In this article, the step-up substation is situated a few kilometers from the solar panel fields, one of the important parts of the power grid, will be discussed.
