About Kibwezi Sunpower

Kibwezi Sunpower is a pioneer in the solar industry. As early as 1996, the company commenced with the development, implementation, and operation of photovoltaic plants in Germany. In 2007 the company expanded to Spain and in 2013 the first solar utility was built on the island of Mauritius. At the moment, Kibwezi Sunpower is looking for new markets in Africa and Middle East. The product portfolio ranges from small residential rooftop facilities to multi megawatt solar power utilities, including the world‘s largest roofmounted systems. In addition, Kibwezi Sunpower offers advanced storage technologies and solutions for eMobility. Kibwezi Sunpower is particularly proud to have received the German Solar Price in 2007, awarded by EUROSOLAR

Started the Company
Almost four decades ago we started as a company with two man. Not much later a landscape designer joined the team and from that point we began to grow fast.
1997
Second Location
The last years we grew very quickly, so 1997 was the year we opened a second location. The new location started with five new landscapers.
2015
Total of 12 Awards
Until the year 2015, we are nominated several times, and won 12 awards in total for landscape design. We are very proud of this achievement.
